Housekeeping & Concierge Service

Every detail of your stay can be arranged in advance – or at a moments notice.

Higher Cross Park offers a full concierge service for guests who want to arrive and simply enjoy. Handled by a team with an exceptional eye for detail and a genuine belief that true luxury lies in the details that matter most, we can arrange everything from private dining and wine pairings to bespoke experiences, transfers, spa treatments and day-to-day household management.  All handled with discretion throughout your stay.

Dogs

We welcome one dog per stay and an additional dog upon request. All we ask is that you follow the House Rules including clearing up after your dog and keeping them out of the swimming pool – the sea is very close by!

Please complete the booking enquiry form on our website and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
You will be able to check-in at Higher Cross Park at 4pm on the day of arrival, check out is at 10am on the departure day. A late check out may be available on request and with prior approval.
Our preferred changeover day is Thursday during Peak season to ensure the best turnaround for you and help you avoid the busyness of Friday/Saturday traffic. Outside of peak season, you can request if you have a preference outside of this, we will try and accommodate you.
We accept requests for short breaks during the off peak season – this is subject to availablity and approval. During peak season (June-September, Christmas, Easter and ½ term holidays), the minimum charge is 1 week.
You may have guests visit you during your stay but they are not permitted to stay overnight in the property unless they are part of the initial booking party. Due to insurance, this is non-negotiable and guests will be asked to leave if they do not adhere to this during their stay.

Dogs are welcome. We accept one dog at no extra charge and one more upon request and approval. All we ask is that you comply with the House Rules, make sure you keep an eye on your furry friend and clean up after them.

Our concierge service will be happy to help with your childcare requirements. Please keep in mind that the summer months are incredibly busy so to avoid any disappointment, plan ahead.

During a standard one week stay, you have 8 hours of complimentary housekeeping included. Any additional hours can be organised with our concierge service prior to your arrival and will be charged to you at an additional cost. Please indicate any requests on your booking enquiry form and we will get back you
There is strictly no smoking inside of the property. You are welcome to smoke in the garden but please use the ashtrays provided.
We have smart TV’s installed around Higher Cross Park where you can access apps to stream TV and music including NOW TV for Sky channels. We also have Apple TV installed on the TV’s in the snug, cinema and bar.
The pool is fitted with a DriPool security cover that should be used when the pool is not in use. Instructions on how to use this will be provided at your check-in. The owner cannot accept liability arising from the use of the hot tub or swimming pool, which are at the guests own risk. 
The garden has fencing and hedging around all perimeters and a gate to the front which can be kept closed if required.
There are stairs to all sleeping accommodation and steps throughout the gardens. Please send us a request in your booking enquiry if you require any assistance with access and we will see what we can do to accommodate you.
Higher Cross Park has capacity for up to 5 cars on its private driveway.
We currently do not have EV charging but are planning a pod point installation in 2025. There are numerous 3-pin plugs located externally that can be used to charge your vehicle, plus there are charge points nearby in Kingsbridge.
A bath sheet, hand towel and pool towel are provided for each guest during your stay at Higher Cross Park. They are strictly for use within the property and should not be taken away or used at the beach. We do not provide beach towels so you may wish to bring them with you.
